Twenty Billion is supposed to be one of the great unproduced screenplays. It's about the end of the world and planet's wealthiest people build a spaceship to save themselves. Supposed to be a black comedy.

Even though the film was not made, it's nice to see someone was trying.

I disagree (obviously). I think the reasons for making this movie were varied, with $$$ being one of them. I think the prime motive was to have a great deal of fun making a movie that's guaranteed to make money.

The first person I thought of when I read this thread title was Rober DeNiro...almost all of the films he has done over the past 10 years have been for the money.
