Never heard of this film. But as Rocshemp said about J-horror. If that's true than I need to see it. Streaming anywhere?

It's available for streaming on Netflix, Magnet's channel on YouTube also has it (but requires a $2.99 monthly subscription, tho you get a 14-day trial), it's also available for $2.99 (rent) from iTunes, Vudu, Amazon, PSN, Xbox, etc;
Unrelated, but Magnet actually has a pretty cool little promo clip for their YouTube channel, reminds me of the old Manga ads, but with B movies.

After several years I just recently viewed KK's Retribution (Sakebi) for the second time. Even though Kairo is the better film it shares some similar themes and I would highly recommend it.

I still say that Cure is probably my favorite of Kiyoshi Kurosawa.
