If I had to pick just one stand alone film, then I'd go with Pulp Fiction.

If I can lump trilogies together, then Lord of the Rings, followed closely by the orginal Star Wars Trilogy, with Pulp Fiction 3rd.

Top 5 all time films in no specific order:

Dazed and Confused - Watched this film so many times in high school that I'm just now, 8 years later, able to sit down and watch it again. It seemed like this was played in the wee hours of every party I went to for three years. Combine that with watching it frequently on my own and I've probably seen this film 150 times.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - Another movie that I was introduced through partying. I love the film but it mostly makes the list for introducing me to Hunter S Thompson. The good doctor is now one of my favorite authors. So much so that my son's middle name is Hunter.

Chasing Amy - This movie says more to me about friendship than any film I've ever seen. Plus it has the Hooper X Star Wars film. Love those dick jokes. Love ‘em.

Godfather - Near perfect movie that my father introduced me to. I still hear him explaining some of the intricacies of the story every time I watch it.

Lord of the Rings trilogy - It's one story. I'm counting it as one movie. Deal with it.
