"Actor Terrance Howard has reportedly signed on to appear in a sequel to “Hustle & Flow,” a hit movie about a Memphis pimp/rapper going through a mid-life crisis. The movie was written and directed by Craig Brewer and produced by John Singleton. Since its premiere in July, the acclaimed film raked in over $22 million at the box office. According to published reports, the cast will remain the same with actors like Anthony Anderson, Paula Jai Parker, Taryn Manning, singer Isaac Hayes and Ludacris as rival rapper Shinny Black."

I guess they didn't woop that trick enough, last time around.

I liked the first. I wish they could just leave well enough alone.

Terrace Howard needs a better project to propel him into the A-list, not a sequel.

Holy shit. I LOVED Hustle & Flow, one of my favourite movies of the year, but they better have a DAMN GOOD story to tell here, otherwise I don't see a point. If Craig Brewer is back at the helm, maybe it could be decent...and honestly, I don't see Terrance Howard doing something just for the money...

Yep. He signed on to do Get Rich or Die Tryin, Biker Boyz, Glitter, Angel Eyes, Big Momma's House, The Player's Club, and Sunset Park solely because of their artistic integrity. He's a pretty good actor, but come on now...
