Final Destination 3 (Poster, trailer, etc...)
http://www.horrorchannel.com/dread/i.../fd3poster.jpg
http://www.fd3movie.com/ From IMDB: The third film follows high school student Wendy Christensen who fails to stop the fated roller coaster ride that she predicted would cause the deaths of several of her friends. She teams with schoolmate Kevin Fischer in a race against time to prevent death from revisiting the survivors of the accident. Summary written by CountingDown.com After a high school senior, Wendy Christenson (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), has a fatal premonition of a disastrous roller-coaster accident that involves her and her friends, she warns everyone and luckily gets herself and many of her friends and others off the roller-coaster before it sets off, after they get off and the roller-coaster starts off, it crashes just like in her premonition, soon she teams up with a friend, Kevin Fischer (Ryan Merriman) as well as many other people, some including Erin (Alexz Johnson) and Ian (Kris Lemche) to try and cheat death. Will they succeed or will they learn a lesson that you just can't cheat death? |
I'll see it. The first two were fun enough, and I got a kick out of the death scenes in the second. I'll be back for more, especially if roller coasters are involved.
|
Definitely seeing this as I really enjoyed the first two. Bring on the gore, baby.
|
The first two were very well done, I'll watch this.
|
I'll watch this, alebit on DVD. And while I'm not sober.
|
I'm definitely there, with Morgan and Wong back at the helm, I'm sure it'll deliver some creative deaths and good thrills...plus, like most, a rollercoaster accident is one of my biggest fears. Looking forward to it (although, hopefully this is the CLOSING chapter ...as the trailer seems to imply).

 I liked the first two.
|
Sounds good to me as well.

Ok, maybe I'm just thinking about things too much but regarding the premise for this sequal...
Final Destination is all about cheating death, i.e. when your time is up your time is up, well if the girl wigs out and convinces her friends not to ride a roller coaster at the last possible moment (a la plane and car accident from the first two films) what about the people behind them in line? Think about it, some girl begs her friends not to go they won't stop the ride just because some kids chicken out, so that means the people that were next in line take their place and die on the roller coaster. So what happens there? It wasn't their time to go. In the first two films when the main characters got off the plane or avoided the car accident no additional people died, just the ones that were originally meant to die minus the main characters. Any thoughts? |

Hot girls + gory deaths = I'll love it.
|
Oh man Im so there! This looks very promising :).
|
You gotta love the Final Destination films. Lots of quality kills. I'm in. Beer :beer2:
|
Will definately catch this one...too bad no Ali Larter though.
|
I'll miss Ali Larter as well :( but the first two were so great (the second being the best) I'll definitely watch a third.
You pose an interesting question, Crashnburn. :hscratch: |
The trailer looks pretty good so I have a little hope. I watched the hell out of the second one when it came to DVD so I'm curious to see if they can top it. If I go into this one not expecting much I think I might get more out of it.

With that said though, I really did enjoy the first two - they're great "leave your brain at the door" flicks. |

Any thoughts? Well, the whole thing is kinda screwy then. Cause then you could say it wasn't their time to die but it really was the people on line behind them because they did. |
Although the sequel was good, I preferred the original and am looking forward to this since the original crew is back.
|
I loved the first one and hated the second one, The premise is now tired. I wish they would try something new instead of this. What's next? A paddlewheel boat flips and the survivors are killed one by one in a grisly fashion? I will probably check it out though when it hits video at least, especially since the orginal crew is back as Fincher said

I liked both movies and this trailer looks good. I think ill definently see it.
|
Possibly. Probably not until it hits the movie channels on satellite.
I thought the first one was bloody brilliant, except when the moviemakers wimped out on the ending and changed it. The second one was horrible. And even though the original guys are back, considering they changed their vision the first time around doesn't give me hope for this one. |
I enjoyed the first two and will definitely be seeing this one.
