Add me to the "loved it" crowd!
I had read some of the positive comments in here, so I knew what to expect. I laughed out loud several times, something I haven't done in years.

Favorite line:
girl: "so what line of work are you in?"

Harold:"I'm retired. I invented dice when I was a kid."

It looked like...

Excellent, excellent movie. I loved the dialogue, the action, the humor, the performances, the noodidity of Michele Monaghan, all of it.

"Look up idiot in the dictionary, and you know what you'll find?"
"Uh...a picture of me?"
"No, the definition of idiot, which you fucking are!"

"Still gay?"
"Nope, knee-deep in pussy. I just love the name so much I can't get rid of it."

"Why in pluperfect hell did you pee on the corpse? "

Two minor faults.
Harry and Harmony knew each other when they were kids, but he is obviously at least 10 years older than she is. That really doesn't bother me though.

Second,
Spoiler:
the scene at the end with Perry slapping around the dead girl's father for molesting her. It seemed out of place and tacked on.

Heh. I had an interesting second viewing of this film...

The first time I saw it was in theatres.

I saw it for a second time maybe two weeks ago...

I was in Barcelona and I convinced my Spanish host-brother to rent it, saying it was one of my favorite movies in the past few years. As we started the movie, he switched it into Spanish dubbing with English subtitles for me. Needless to say, I was but nothing I said could convince them that the original version is best with subtitles in the foreign language of choice.

There's something in the Mediterranean mentality... In Spain, in Italy.. They just don't like subtitles and LOVELOVELOVELOVE dubbing.

I watched this last night and thought it sucked. Not funny or exciting, the movie bored me.

If your screenname is anything to go by...I understand why.

The really funny thing is that this isn't the first time that someone pointed that out after they said that they hated something that many consider great.

I got this on HD DVD and absolutely loved it from beginning to end. Gotta love those beer commercials. "What do I know? I'm a bear! I suck the heads off fish!"

I admit KKBB is a better made movie than Happy Gilmore...but Gilmore is much more entertaining in my opinion and has TONS of replay value, something KKBB has none of

FWIW, I like both movies a lot, and have seen both many times.

Both holdup quite well on repeat viewings.

Sorry. "Adam Sandler" and "entertaining" really don't belong together.

Watching this again right now and had to comment: A fun game is to track every gun in the movie. It's a story in and of itself, kinda like an old movie I saw that was centered around a twenty dollar bill that tied all these other stories together.

http://imdb.com/title/tt0108410/

Plus...
Spoiler:
The scene where Harold's hugging the dog that just swallowed his finger...priceless.

I'm a little late on this one, but I just had to comment. I've seen about 20 films in the last month (mostly rentals), and they've all been mediocre at best. I didn't really want to watch this, but I thought, what the hell, it got great reviews on rottentomatoes. Wow, was I in for a treat. About 20 minutes in, I was convinced this was shaping up to be the best movie I've seen in a long while.

The dialogue was so great...the roles were cast perfectly. And it was funny to see Lane from Season 1 (maybe 2) of Felicity (Ben's bartending swimming buddy). lol

I'm gonna have to buy this one. 4/5.

Yeah I saw it knowing nothing about it and absolutely loved it. One of my favorite comedies in a long time.
