In the latest breaking news from the set Mimi, star of Anaconda, stormed off the set because Samuel L. Jackson degrades her industry and he offended her by calling all snakes motherF*&@ers. The studio has decided to film her scenes seperately and insert her in digitally.

Thank Christ they changed the name of this movie back. I would see a movie called Snakes on a Plane just for the cheesiness factor. Screw Pacific Flight whatever.

The next major step for this series would have to be Snakes in the White House (or Snakes at 1600...too bad Snipes bowed out. ;) )

I can't wait to see the poster design. The possibilities are limitless! I'm thinking maybe Sam L on top of a plane, surrounded by a big pile of snakes, with one fist thrust into the air, clutching a snake, and maybe a sword in the other hand. Also, his shirt should probably be torn.

Nothing at the website yet, but at least it looks like they aren't going to change the name! Our beloved SOAP will fly soon. And as far as LOGOS go, I can't believe they would miss out on an opportunity to have a SNAKE be the S's in the title....that would be incredible! Longing for a teaser...

Wow, that looks almost as good (read: bad) as I had imagined.

The only way I could draw that conclusion from the trailer would be if:

1. There were no snakes.
and/or
2. There was no plane.

Well, at least it delivers on the title. I went to Sneakers thinking it was a documentery on Nike.
