It's been killed. I recently saw Stallone on "ET" or "Access Hollywood," and he confirmed the project is dead because one person in particular didn't want to do it. He didn't say who it was.

Will Rocky 6 ever be made?
I know stallone has a reality show called the contender coming out this fall and that he's been having some trouble with mgm studio's but Rocky 6 would have to do better for him financially then any of the past 5 or 6 movies he's been in.

I wonder . . . Is Tommy Gunn still champion? Rocky beat him outside of the ring, but Gunn was still the World Champion in the ring. Can you imagine a more hated champ than Tommy?

You REALLY want to see Stallone in the ring? This guy is pushing 60! Sorry, there's no way that can be done with a sliver of realism. I don't want to see geriatric boxing.

Entertainment Weekly stated that the script for ROCKY VI was to have the Italian Stallion step back into the ring (after many years of retirement) to raise money for a youth center. And it was to be modelled after the real-life saga of George Foreman winning the title again at middle age after being away from the ring.
Now, can you imagine this money being better than any previous ROCKY's, including ROCKY V?
