It's screening in Austin on Wednesday, with a couple of the stars there.

I'm not so depressed this time as I've only got to wait another three days...! I tried to get to the Chicago ones before, but of course never managed to get tickets. Congrats to those who get to this one!

Sheesh...they've screened this baby so many times will there be any fans left to go see it this weekend?

Yeah, I'm going to that. It's going to be outdoors at the ranch where they filmed the latest Alamo movie.

Lots of folks are seeing it twice or more. So I say it may not be #1, but it should do a decent amount of business.

As far I know there have been at least two pre-release screenings here in DC - one last night and last Wednesday.

I'll just wait for this to get released on Friday and check out a matinee sometime next week.

Yup, should be entertaining. I'm glad I got in on a Fantastic Fest badge early on, because they're slowly but surely adding some really cool screenings to the mix.

it does seem like they are screening it way to much. It seems like they would build up the excitment for the fans so they all go on opening day

Through screenings they are building buzz. It's not the fans that they want to get to see the film, it's those who aren't exposed tot he series they want the majority of the cash from.

Generate enough good buzz from the fans and you have your review blips in favor of the film to get those not in the loop. Those die hards are going to see it again anyways.
