Armaggedon is on there? I'd add Million Dollar Baby for sure.

"Interesting" list. I personally tear up at the end of Last of the Mohicans, Grave of the Fireflies, and more recently, the end of The 25th Hour. And an odd one, I get "emotional" during Nick Nolte's flashback about what happened to his wife in Hulk.

I can understand its absence from a British list, but <b>RUDY</b> would be near the top for me (and I don't even <i>like</i> football!).

Surprised not to see Mr. Holland's Opus. Watched that this afternoon and teared up.


Nice additions like Edward Scissorhands and The Elephant Man for the women. Most of the choices are typical, although some I don't understand (Titanic? Of Mice and Men?)

Field of Dreams is a good choice. I also get a little teary at the end of Black Hawk Down.

When I saw the thread title, my first thought was "weeping sores", but that would be a whole 'nother list of movies.

Maybe because people tend to weep at the astronomical waste of talent (not Michael Bay's... I'm still not convinced he has talent) and money.

But I would add BAMBI, the Oscar-winning doc BEST BOY; SCHINDLER'S LIST; FORBIDDEN GAMES; PONETTE... I'm sure I'll think of others.

this is sort of a sexist comment and I appologize in advance, but did anyone else notice that the woman's movie list has more crap on it then the mens?

I.E. Stepmom, Titanic, Ghost, Steel Magnolis, Pay it forward vs armagedon

I found Armageddon to be a tear-jerker, but the Green Mile had me pretty weepy too.

I thought the Michael Bolton remake of the song was weepy, but Meg Ryan had me at gulp, gulp (Andy Garcia help me) gulp. :)

Anybody who claims to have never shed a tear because of "Old Yeller" is a goddamn liar. Big Fish makes my personal list.

My personal favorite that is not on either list is Somewhere in Time. I ball everytime I watch that flick.

I forgot one.. Ice Castles.

I always cry at the end of both Somewhere In Time and Fearless, for totally different reasons.

I've never cried during a movie(or TV show for that matter). But Old Yeller is a sad one. I still can't believe it's a Disney flick. Sure, Bambi is also, but a kid being forced to shoot his own dog is pretty hardcore.
