Star Wars Guy 09-06-05 09:55 AM

The one I just made the other day:

"Match...Mr. Incredible...Room is secure. Commence Message. Hello Mr. Incredible!" from The Incredibles.

Jazzbutcher 09-06-05 05:09 PM

Hal did a bunch that are perfect as ringtones:

"It can only be attributable to human error."
"I am completely operational and all my circuits are functioning perfectly."
"This conversation can serve no purpose anymore. Goodbye."
"Daisy, Daisy..."
"Are you sure you are making the right decision?"
"It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before."
"I've just picked up a fault in the AE35 unit. It's going to go 100% failure in 72 hours."

Considering it's a ringtone... Dumb & Dumber
"Hey... wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world? AAAHHEHEHEHHHHAHHAHHAHHEHHEHEHH!!!!"

I like the suggestion of the famous movie "hello"s, especially on phone calls.
Office Space
"Yeah, HI it's Bill Lumbergh... yeah... HI, it's Bill..."

TheGodfather 09-07-05 12:25 AM

Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.

- The Princess Bride

IMO the best hello line in any movie.

SINGLE104 09-07-05 08:52 AM

Clint Eastwood's - GO AHEAD, MAKE MY DAY.

That would be the number one perfect ringtone quotation.

That's the first one that came to my mind, too!

"Welcome to Good Burger, home of the Good Burger! May I take your order?"

Actually I have that one :)

And for voicemail I have Mr. Worf saying "Captain, incoming message."

Yes I am a nerd.

Dang it! Does everybody have this but me? I've been trying to find an MP3 version of it (the sped up "badger" version, not the original Raffi version) so I can make it into a ringtone, but can't find it anywhere.

Well if we're going to correct people, Baldwin's line is actually, "Give me the fucking keys, you fucking ********ing motherfucker, aaarrrghh!"

...give or take.

[Note about the asterisks, it's the same word that's censored in the post I responded to. I just refuse to censor silly "curse" words. If the computer does it for me, so be it, but I won't.]

How about "Plato? Aristotle? Socrates? Morons!"

Kudama 09-08-05 06:14 PM

Helloooo. Helloooooooo!!! Giant metal maaan!

(The Iron Giant)

MahatmaPetey 09-08-05 07:43 PM

the tootie fruitie conversation in The Devil's Rejects

Heat 09-10-05 03:56 AM

Just record yourself saying "Hey, nice tits!", use that as your ringtone. Could make for some very interesting situations.

Else, the "Now it places the lotion in the basket" by Jame "Buffalo Bill" Gumb in The Silence of the Lambs would be my pick.

Or the "I'm Superman" quote from Iron Giant (at the end, just before he hits the bomb).

talemyn 09-10-05 10:40 AM

A can't believe that nobody's mentioned this from Eddie Murphy's Raw: "Hey Lil' you gonna answer this telephone? Do you hear the phone ringing? Lil! Brdadurdahdring! Brdadurdahdring! Brdadurdahdring!"

Yocke 09-10-05 01:14 PM

"You think you're big time? You're gonna fucking die big time!"
From Carlito's Way

Rypro 525 09-10-05 06:36 PM

do most cell phones have a recorder to record ring tones? since i was at a concert last night and someone had a system of a down ring tone from a live show.

necros 09-11-05 10:33 PM

Pee Wee's Big Advengure

"Paging Mr. Herman. Mr. Herman, you have a telephone call at the front desk"

You could even leave out the front desk park and that would work too.

Holy thread resurrection Batman!

This was really 12 years ago?!

And I still have that ringtone although it's not in use. I'm sure I also have the Motorola flip phone that I was using at the time somewhere buried in a closet somewhere.

Shark Attack 3

“What do you say I… take you home and eat your pussy?”

Re: good movie quotes to use as ringtone

Not quite a movie quote or a ringtone, but my parents allowed me to use this as the families voicemail for about 5 years.

Re: good movie quotes to use as ringtone

From the opening of 3 Stooges shorts

"Hello. Hello. Hello. ....Hello."

Scour the Bond films for a "Come in 007."

Re: good movie quotes to use as ringtone

Not a movie quote, but from TV's Frasier. In one episode, Frasier's reaction to the phone ringing was, "Oh, what fresh hell is this?" That quote would be awesome, as it's my typical thought whenever the phone rings.
