I actually came looking for an UNDERCLASSMAN thread to post a question, but one hadn't already been started.

I read in Ebert's review of the film, that Kelly Hu plays a high school student.
And IMDb identifies the Kelly Hu in the cast as that same actress that played Deathstrike in X-Men 2.

BTW, awful film. Some of the reviews or RT are hilarious.

God this film looks awful.

That's all I have to say about that really.

This is one of those headscratchers. You just can't imagine someone green lighting the film and hopefully the person that did is now out of a job.

More pics of Kelly Hu could make this a worthwhile thread though.

since this is a miramax movie, how long was this on the shelf before finally released?
