Quick question about AotC dialogue...
When watching the movie on Fox last week, I got a phone call and put the TV on mute, which I have set to turn captioning on. During the scene where Obi-Wan goes to meet Jango Fett, Jango tells Boba, essentially, to close the door where his bounty hunter gear was displayed, but in a different language. I couldn't help but notice the captioning for this line was "rood eht so-heeck". The first two words are obviously "the door", but what is that last part supposed to be? I assumed him to be telling him to close the door, but I couldn't figure out how the word "close" (if that was the word to be changed) became "so-heeck".
Obviously I don't expect this to be a thread opening a huge discussion. I was just looking for a quick answer, and then this thread can drift into oblivion. :) |
Have no idea, but so-heeck backwards is "kcee-hos" which you could pronounce as "key-hose"...or "close".

As many people in here who know as much as they do about the SW universe, and nobody can answer this question?

Has anyone tried capturing the actual dialog in a .WAV file and playing it backwards? Could be interesting...

I think it’s just random jabber. Nothing more.

Yeah, I know Anakin's dialog with Watto is pure gibberish that Hayden Christensen made up on the spot, so it's a pretty safe bet that this was too.
