Can anyone remember the Sci Fi movie...

where the ship was shaped bascially like a moose head.
I think the kid was from earth, and somehow stowed away on it.

Myster X 05-20-05 02:17 PM

Flight of the Navigator?

rearadmir0l 05-20-05 02:22 PM

moose headed space ship

Nope. Not a moose headed space ship.
And its not 'ice pirates', nor the 3-D bounty hunter movie either.

Flight of the Moose?

rearadmir0l 05-20-05 02:28 PM

Right now, the odds on favorite is SpaceHunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone, but Metal Storm: The destruction of jared syd is a close second.

IDrinkMolson 05-20-05 02:34 PM

Moosehead? Sounds like a Canadian flick.

rearadmir0l 05-20-05 02:39 PM

I knew as soon as beer was mentioned ...

some damn 'nuck would show up.

Well, I've checked IMBD for the posters of 'Metal Storm' and 'Forbidden Zone' and neither of those has a moosehead spaceship. Dad nabbit.

BATTLE BEYOND THE STARS, with Richard Thomas? Yeah, it kicked (admittedly derivative) ass!

Although, I always thought it looked like a pair of boobies more than a moosehead, but I see where you're comin' from...

rearadmir0l 05-20-05 02:44 PM

HOLY CRAP!!! 'BATTLE BEYOND THE STARS' it is.

Mutley Hyde 05-20-05 02:46 PM

Boobies? WTH? Boobies don't have antlers.

rearadmir0l 05-20-05 02:51 PM

Boobies vs. Antlers

The fact I was 7 when it came out makes it a moose head. The other guy here, who was 17, remembers every curve of Valkyrie, her "Live Fast, Die young, have a beautiful corpse" line, and of course, the fact that the ship had boobs.

Mutley Hyde 05-20-05 03:01 PM

jfoobar 05-20-05 03:12 PM

Nell's voice gave me the hot.

Numanoid 05-20-05 04:50 PM

Yeah, I think it was supposed to be a woman's torso, not a moosehead.

space raiders. The film used the same ships, same music score and same fight sequences. Just different actors, different story to battle beyond the stars.

That’s the most testicular spaceship I’ve ever seen!

LEXX was a show in a category all its own. A real work of art. Brilliantly weird, freaky and satirical. Stumbling across it on Sci-Fi during its Season 2 run with red-haired Xev was fun times. All the actors did a phenomenal job with their characters.
