Anyone DRESS UP in costume when they see this?

----

Any fans out there who are planning to DRESS UP or know anyone who will be dressing up when they go see this for the first time?

Don't be shy....

I would, but I've never been able to find nice-looking Jedi Robes. I've never planned in dressing up completely in costume. Just regular clothes but them Jedi Robes on top of them would really be nice.

I may wear my Star Trek Generations t-shirt personally.

Best. Costume. Ever.

I am a giant fucking nerd...but I draw the line at dressing up in costume...really...that is the one thing that used to separate Star Wars fans and Star Trek fans in terms of geekdom...now we are pretty much on the same level.

hehehe... I know. Truthfully, it really doesn't matter which t-shirt I wear because it gets chilly at night so I'll wear a sweatshirt anyway.

Hmmmm maybe I should pick up a Triumph The Insult Dog sweatshirt for the occasion.

No. No. and No.

I still can't get over the obnoxious dipshit at Trilogy Tuesday who dressed up as a hobbit, pestered everyone about their favorite book and shoved his own version of lembas bread in everyone's face. -ohbfrank-

No I will not dress up.....although if I had a cool Darth Vader suit (with the breathing) I'd consider it.

Lonestar9 05-08-05 11:59 AM

I'm suprised no one is admitting to dressing up? I say to each his own, and some peeps do make some slick costumes...but having said that, to go watch a movie in costume is not my thing. I don't even have any start wars t-shirts, I may wear one of those...hmm..

Josh H 05-08-05 01:05 PM

Nope, but I do like to chuckle at all the people dressed up while waiting in line for the midnight showings. :D

My wife and I (and a couple thousand of our friends) will be walking about the theaters for opening weekend in costume to provide atmosphere. Hopefully, I will have already seen the movie at the test previews on Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon. 501st Represent!

It looks like a bad cross between an imperial officer uniform, and the dress uniform from Star Trek the original series.

QuiGonJosh 05-11-05 07:40 AM

I just take my lightsaber with me. :D

buckee1 05-12-05 07:55 PM

ROBERTCOP34 05-12-05 09:48 PM

Chrisedge 05-13-05 01:09 PM

I have a costume and can admit it. I wore it to the opening of EPI.

I am now 40, so I'm too old for this :)

PopcornTreeCt 05-13-05 02:43 PM

We were on line for Return of the King and some guys wore robes that looked like Harry Potter outfits. We had a good laugh teasing them about their Harry Potter robes.

And I'm too old to dress up for Star Wars. Anything past 8 is too old.
