May 04, 2005 Blanchett, Pitt on 'Case' for Fincher Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett are in negotiations to star in the long-gestating adaptation of the F. Scott Fitzgerald story "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," which David Fincher is directing. Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures are co-financing the project, with Paramount handling domestic rights and Warners taking international. Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall are producing. The story centers on an elderly man who gets younger as time passes and encounters complications when, at age 50, he falls in love with a woman who is 30. |

He did; he's also doing this one apparently. Two movies less that 3 years apart? He's a speed demon.

Well I don't know if that was sarcasm or not but Fincher is not exactly a speed demon when it comes to making films.

Ah, weird I was thinking of that other movie with Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett coming out. Babel directed by Inarritu. Eh, I trust Fincher will make an entertaining movie hopefully the script won't totally suck.
