After thirteen years, Bruce Robinson is back.

He's directed three films. Two of them are highly acclaimed (and boast spots in the Criterion Collection, to boot). And now, the director of "Withnail & I," and "How to Get Ahead in Advertising" is taking his place behind the camera once again. What project peaked his interest so much? The adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson's "The Rum Diary," of course.

I'm getting more and more excited about this movie every day.

Oh, and on a side note, if there's ever been a movie that, prior to it's theatrical release, I'd bet money would receive the Criterion treatment, it's this one. With one Hunter S. Thompson adaptation (Fear and Loathing), and 2/3 of Robinson's feature films in their collection already, this one will certainly have a spot waiting for it (assuming the rights and whatnot allow for it).
