Next Bond?

Now That Pierce Brosnan has officially stepped down from the role of Bond, who do you believe will Star in Casino Royale?

My Vote: Orlando Bloom

Orlando Bloom? Interesting choice I guess, but I just can't see him pulling it off.

It's not very original, but I think Clive Owen would still be the best choice, although I still would kinda like to see how Ewan McGregor would do with the role.

Dougray Scott has the inside edge right now. Although I think I would still prefer either Clive Owen or Hugh Jackman.

British radio poll to find best actor for next James Bond names... Pierce Brosnan

Radio 4 (UK) ran a listeners poll to determine who should play James Bond next, and the winner was... Pierce Brosnan!

Listeners to the station believe the search for the next 007 should ultimately lead back to Irishman 's door.

Brosnan, who has played Bond in four films since 1994 topped the poll, followed by Coventry-born King Arthur star Clive Owen.

Tied in third place were Star Wars actor Ewan McGregor; Hornblower's Ioan Gruffudd, news presenter Jeremy Paxman and Hex's Colin Salmon, the black actor tipped by Brosnan himself.

The full results:
1. Pierce Brosnan
2. Clive Owen
3= Ewan McGregor
3= Colin Salmon
3= Ioan Gruffud
3= Jeremy Paxman
4= Jude Law
4= Matthew McFadyen
5= Colin Firth

I think Colin Salmon will be great.

Better question. Now that they have announced the next Bond film how many threads do you think we need speculating about who it is going to be?

I'm going with Adrian Paul, BTW.

Well, if I'd pick one person, I personally believe that Clive Owen would make a great Bond.

Not a big fan of the idea to have Ewan McGregor or Jude Law fill the role. Nor would I like to see Ioan Gruffud as Bond either.

Clive Owen (hell, Colin Firth before the three aforementioned names)...
