What movie guide are we using as a reference, incidentally?

My two all-time favorites are Leon and Jaws, which get 4.5 and 5 stars respectively on allmovie.com.

I couldn't care less how my favorite movies stack up against someone else's standards. They're 4-stars in my book and that's all that matters.

I don't like the 'stars' system of rating, but I know that I disagree with the bulk of the critics more often than not.

"Currently, there are not enough Tomatometer critic reviews for Brighton Rock to receive a rating."

But it's in the top 20 of the BFI's list of best British films of all time.
