Karate Kid: The Musical

It was bound to happen - a musical based on The Karate Kid:

It's Karate, Kid! The Musical

Looks like it's already run its engagement, but there's three songs available for download.

"I'm the evil sensei/It's my evil dojo/I teach evil karate/I'm evil as a mofo"

From the website:

Honor. Friendship. Fisting.

IT'S KARATE, KID! The Musical is an outrageous and unconventional riff on the beloved ’80s film. Under the manicured guiding hand of a mystical
maintenance man, Daniel-San Larusso wages war against pill-popping, white trash deviants; well-styled, bloodthirsty karate students; rampaging hormones and many more “unsavory things.”

Featuring 20 ferocious new songs, including “Wax On! Wax Off!,” “‘A’ My Name is Ali” and “We are the Bitchkicks,” this KID chops through an orgy of drug-fueled excess and sexual perversion to win the gold!

Just what kind of musical is this?

"Teatro La Tea is located between Rivington and Delancey Streets, on the lower east side."

Talk about off-off-off-off-Broadway.

Rip off! It's already been done:

The guy who did the above musical also did a great Army of Darkness musical last summer. I saw it during the Chicago Comic Con, it kicked ass.
