Help me remember this Sci-Fi movie from 2004
There was a movie featured on Ebert & Roeper that they both trashed, but still looked interesting.
It was a sci-fi movie where people all over the world were dropping dead because they had no love in their lives. I remember a scene where some people were on an escalator and see a dead body at the bottom. One of the guys panics, but the dead bodies have become mundane for the people he is talking to.
Can't remember any of the actors, unfortunately, but they mentioned the movie was shown at Sundance in 2003 and shelved until 2004. In fact, they mentioned it might be the worst movie of '03 and '04.
Anyone remember the name of the movie? I can never figure out how to search old reviews on the Ebert & Roeper website.
