Wow, if DC manages to get Zemeckis, that would be huge. He would definitely want some say in the script if not having him contribute a write up on it.

Maybe with Zemeckis' creativity he can come up with a better costume than whatever the fuck the dude is wearing in the pic above this post.

Guess The Hollywood Reporter didn't want to be left out so...

I imagine most people here would love to see Vaughn do it, especially with his experience doing comic book movies and the tone of his recent work.

Yeah Vaughn seems like the most logical choice due to his recent history.

Personally, I'd rather see Vaughn do a Superman movie.

I like Zemeckis but I have a hard time picturing him doing a film like this. I kind of agree that I'd rather see Vaughn do a Superman film. Raimi could be interesting to see doing another superhero film.

Billy Crudup has apparently left The Flash solo movie.

He's playing Barry's Dad in Justice League.

^^^ Update, apparently Crudup has refuted that report. He's still in.

Strange that EW would even report that. Although maybe there's something to that. But glad he's still attached (and if it remains, we'll still see him in Justice League).

Because any bad news or bumps in the road about the DCEU produces CLICKS, RETWEETS, SHARES, etc. I've been seeing this report all day even on "DC pages". It's like people are ignoring Crudup and others saying it's not true.

Well they haven't exactly earned themselves a great reputation to this point. They've sort of dug themselves into a hole and need to gain back trust to get out of it. Not even with just the films that have released but there's been a lot of behind the scenes drama going on.

We know...thanks...again...for pointing this out. No one is disagreeing with you that DC needs to "marvel it up" and get shit right.

But also, and I think it's a point many have been trying to make, there is now a "hope for failure" from many. As much as the MAJORITY of us ALL WANT **ALL** COMIC FILMS to SUCCEED...there is a small but vocal crowd that wants DC films to fail every time. Are they being paid or ordered by Marvel? Of course not. It's fanboyism and haterism at its worst. It's nothing new. It's always been there.

So every time some negative news comes out about the DCEU these "DC should fail" dickriders go nuts with spreading the info no matter how inaccurate it is.

Well if you can point out how they can get hate again I can reiterate why they get that hate too. It goes both ways. For the record I don't want DC films to fail but they seem to slip down the same slopes that have landed them where they're at time and time again. They've really only got themselves to blame.

Again though it's not like it's one sided. Someone says something negative and a group bitches about DC getting hate and then someone like myself puts that into perspective. It's repetitive because the same basic shit keeps happening with these movies.

You didn't need to put any "perspective" on my comment. I'm simply pointing out that Bad News for DCEU produces attention in the way of clicks, retweets, shares, etc. We already know why and it has to do with the polarizing affect their films have had on folks for various reasons. You're not telling us anything new.

But apparently you wabbing again that DC is getting hate from clickbait articles isn't repetitive? We've heard that repeated about as often on my side of the fence as if people are clueless as to why there is hate for these movies. Again it goes both ways.

With regards to EW reporting it originally, it was such a small throwaway line in their original article that I hardly think it was for clicks or anything nefarious.

Huh? Won't speak for others but I'm pretty sure that's only the first, *maybe* second time(doubt it) I brought it up. But you telling us the DC makes shit films and has struck out 3 times is a DAILY occurrence. We know they struck out with some folks. We get it. Like i said, I'm not even really disagreeing with you.

You may have not said it in those exact words but it's definitely not only the first or second time you've been dismissive of DC getting hate. We're both guilty of repeating ourselves only for the opposite reasons.
