That absolutely isn't the truth. Can not locate does not mean on the run.

Your reasoned response is great, but doesn't the above joke kind of close the books on this?

Yeah, do you have any idea how fast he runs?

Eh, if it's successful they'll cross over, if not they'll ignore. I can't exactly say that's a terrible way to do things given how they've run things up to this point (and that's a pretty successful strategy they've had with some of their comics... a lot of the most prestigious stuff DC has made is pretty much unconnected to strict continuity and only layered in if at all, later).

WW1986 is probably still a bad movie but it's less bad if you're not constantly wondering how she's doing all this and then the world forget she exists and she disappears like yoda for a couple of decades.

Apparently, fast enough to outrun the authorities.

I don't know if these accusations are true. But it sounds like Ezra is a complete lunatic.

Dude's got their issues, but I doubt we'll hear anything substantial about this until later on. It's not even he-said, she-said. It's someone who hasn't made a statement and accusations by parents with a denial by their now-adult child.

Re: The Flash (2023, D: Muschietti) - S: Miller, Keaton and Affleck

Ezra needs some serious psychiatric help ASAP. I think he’s damaged goods. I know some say that most don’t give a shit and they just want their Flash movie. But still. He has some serious issues and his name being associated with the studio can’t be good. Or does WB is just hoping this blows over in 2023?

I hope Ezra gets the help they need, but truth be told I’m not that invested in them as an actor and really mainly am interested in them for this film. Just being honest.

Miller has a ton of charisma and a great face, but yeah, not much of a career yet. Hate to see it derailed by a drinking problem and out of control ego.

Kinda reminds me of Johnny Depp.

I actually couldn't have come up with a better "Exhibit A" for gender dysphoria than Ezra himself. Maybe they can fit him into Joker 2? WB seems intent on keeping him on the payroll.

WB seems intent on salvaging their investment in this movie, I'm not sure how much they are really attached to Ezra...

This means the DCU is cursed right? I feel like there have been 5+ big problems along the way.

To me it felt like this was going to be “the one” that really brought everything together for DC. Now Ezra goes and fucks it all up.

I wasn’t initially sold on him either but came around to liking them more with Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Now I hope they boot their ass after this film and embrace the Flashpoint element to recast them.

If you look at just the Justice League:
Superman had mustache-gate (all in all, not the worst problem, still love Cavill in this role)
Batman had a drinking problem
Wonder Woman has opinions on Israel vs. Palestine
Cyborg is not welcome anymore for reasons
Flash is basically this whole thread
Aquaman is cool (so far) but Mera is not

It's not exactly as cursed as the cast of, say, Glee, but it's still pretty bad.

Saw a story saying he deleted his Instagram account.

Maybe their current universe has crappy wifi.

If anything I think this will change the way studios release their big movies. I can't see this release moving forward as is- Warner might have to shuffle around their DC theatrical schedule again.

More and more I marvel at how much Nolan accomplished under the mess that is Warner.

It does seem that if you can just do your own thing and not try to make a connected universe, things turn out ok. Like the first WW is only tangentially connected (by the photo) and that's probably the best of the bunch (and even that has a weird second act/ending).

I think it just proves that you can't make a connected universe by playing catchup. You either build it specifically in order and with a plan and some patience or you let each hero move along their own track (Batman gets direct sequels for awhile, Wonder Woman gets direct sequels for awhile, etc.) and do a REALLY intentional Crisis or Flashpoint to pull everything together after years of laying groundwork.

You don't go "Superman, Superman fights Batman and Wonder Woman is here and looks at computer files, oh look Batman is in Suicide Squad for 3 minutes, Wonder Woman has an adventure in the past and now JUSTICE LEAGUE."
