Well, that's kind of a stretch. Chicken Run and W&G are similar in many respects in terms of style, humor, and such. Granted, I'd suggest being more open to it, but I can see how not liking one would influence the other. I think Chicken Run is a lot more similar to W&G than Duck is to Star Wars. All Lucas did for Duck was produce it...he didn't write it, direct it, star in it, and the movie bears pretty much no resemblance to Star Wars in any way. A more apt comparison would be saying I hate the original Star Wars, so I don't want to see the prequels. Or how bout...I hated Pixar's first couple movies, so I don't want to see their new one.

Now, that ain't my opinion on those, but it makes sense nonetheless. If he really hated W&G I'd venture to say he's not going to care for Chicken Run that much.

Shrek 2 is my favourite. Although I still think Pixar movies are way better.

1. Prince of Egypt
2. Chicken Run
3. Antz
4. The Road to El Dorado
5. Shrek
6. Spirit
7. Shrek 2
8. Shark's Tale

Never saw Sinbad.

Overall, a mixed bag. I love Prince of Egypt and Chicken Run, like Antz, find El Dorado to be a *really* strange movie (but enjoyable), and the rest is mediocre, with Shrek 2 and Shark's Tale sucking copious amounts of anus.

Lose the "big names" and concentrate on story, Dreamworks.

Since Lucas didn't make Howard the Duck, the answer should be no!

The only Dreamworks animated film I like is Shrek, and even that's not as good as it's made out to be. Haven't seen Shrek 2, but I get the feeling all the best jokes are in the trailers.

Shrek 2 was passable for me because of Puss In Boots alone.
