'The Killing Of A Chinese Bookie'

Well friends, I've been shafted twice on one major online auction site, the first time was for a turntable, now it was for this Cassavetes movie TKOACB. I never got it. The old fullscreen version.

Was this a blessing in disguise? Should I spend my allowance on the Cassavetes Criterion box set and see it uncut? Or should I buy the old version instead?

New Version, though it is quite expensive for the whole box.
