Just finished watching The Battle of Algiers. What a great film. All through-out the film I couldn't decide which side to root for. I don't believe terrorism is a way to get your message across but then again the people wanted their freedom. In the end, I've read the similiarities between the film and the war in Iraq and while I can agree with some, the major difference is that Iraq has its independence. So that pretty much throws all comparisons out the window. What a fantastic film now onto 2 more discs of extras.
