What do you all think is the scariest movie ever?

Yep, it's the Exorcist.

When I was a kid, definitely Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

House of the Dead. Not because it's actually a scary movie; it's kind of funny if anything...but it's scary that investors gave the director money to make that piece of trash.

Exorcist never worked for me at all...can't think of any horror movies lately tho to actually make me "think twice" about things while in the dark except for The Ring, that easter egg of "the video" screwed me up for a bit one night, had to turn off the player to get it to stop lol

None ever really scared me, but I'd have to say Exorcist came the closest. Only for those damn 1-frame shots of Pazuzu. If I look at it, I'll have nightmares for a week.

Many people here say the Exorcist is the scariest movie they've seen..... I laughed my ass off the first time I saw that movie.
One of the great comedies of our time.
