Thanks. I've been waiting for a trailer for "phoenix" since Mirando Otto is in it.

necros 09-26-04 12:45 PM

Abominable looks pretty... abominable.

But the others look good, even the Afleck one.

joeydaninja 09-26-04 01:55 PM

Flight of the Phoenix is directed by John Moore.

I can't wait to see this movie.

RyoHazuki 09-26-04 11:03 PM

Rammsteinfan 09-26-04 11:19 PM

UKingdom 09-27-04 03:09 AM

unleashed looks great

Added Mr. and Mrs. Smith trailer.

jaeufraser 09-27-04 08:22 PM

Mr and Mrs Smith looks kinda fun. I enjoy Liman's films and the "War of the Roses meets True Lies" description sounds liek it could be a fun movie.

Eulogy looks pretty funny. Kind of a weird move for Ray Ramano, though. After Everybody Loves Raymond and then his two movies Ice Age and Welcome to Mooseport, I expected him to become the new Tim Allen. Maybe it's a good move for him to less family-friendly stuff, maybe not.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry at Seed of Chucky. It's always sad when horror movie franchises become parodies of themselves to say afloat. I guess it beats direct-to-video, but not by much.

Flight of the Phoenix looks okay, but I feel like I've seen the whole movie now. The trailer has a beginning, it has a middle with conflicts involving Man vs. Nature and Man vs. Man, and then it has a resolution.

Unleashed looks good. Could this be a decent American movie for Jet Li? I can't wait to find out.

harosa 09-27-04 09:38 PM

The fact that Unleashed ISNT American made is its reason for looking so good. Kiss of the Dragon was kick ass and was produced and written by the same people who did Unleashed.

Isn't American, but it is in English.

Was pointed out in an interview with Li before Hero came out in the US. His last "US" made film was Cradle 2 The Grave, of which he added "wasn't very good." at least the dude's honest :D

Edit: Damn you harosa for beating me!! :D

Oh yeah, this was probably posted before but eh oh well, trailer post.

You mean there's a difference? Let's not split hairs here.

;)

Surviving Christmas looks good. I like those Christmas movies.

harosa 09-28-04 06:18 AM

Joe, there is a difference because the bad ones are produced here in the US and the better ones are produced in France.

Well, so far anyway. The trailer looks good, but I've reserving my judgement for full movie. And for the record, although Kiss of the Dragon was better than Jet Li's American movies, I didn't think it was that good.

Unleashed isn't working for me.

Anyone else notice in the Flight of the Phoenix trailer, the shot near the end of the plane taking off. The marauders are chasing after the plane on their horses. Couldn't help but think of the line from Adaptation "I'm putting in a chase sequence. So the killer flees on horseback with the girl, the cop's after them on a motorcycle and it's like a battle between motors and horses, like technology vs. horse. "

(I'm pretty sure they're horses, it shows them on motorcycles in one scene, but that looks like it's from earlier on in the movie. I think in the scene when they're actually chasing the plane, they are on horse)
