is that how it goes? If thats the case Wicket forgot to Speek English by the time ROTJ happened. Plus wouldn't the Ewoks have eaten the family since they didn't have C3PO to tell them that it was bad.

I got it from this source, although I don't really know for sure... and I added the newer stuff and the Holiday thing (jokingly) myself...

Ah - heres the kicker. 3P0 *DOESNT* look the same. He's sporting that gray primer finish in epsiode 2, and of course has the gold and silver look in episode 4. As for the sound, consider this. If you have a friend from childhood - who you havent seen in 2 decades - give you a call and speak 2 or 3 lines at you - would you instantly say "Oh my gosh! It's BOB!"

Unlikely.

As for 3P0 not recoginizing the place - who says he didnt? 3P0 very well may have clued in where he was at some point (tho it might have taken a while) - but he just didnt say anything. His key feature - being a protocal droid - involves keeping state secrets and assisting ambassadors. Otherwise known as Threepio knows when to shut the hell up.

Given the stakes involved here, I see no reason why he would be a blabbermouth.
