Columbo: How Many Episodes?

Hi all, I did a search in the forum and didn't find anything related to this question. Does anyone have an exact number as to how many installments/movies/ episodes of Columbo were made? Looking on the net I saw that the latest one was made in 2003. With Season One now on DVD it seems like an interesting question as I know there must be SCADS of them......
