What will be #1 this weekend? Traditionally one of the slowest weekends of the year at the box office, and nothing opening looks that interesting.

This poll is missing:

How cool would it be if the Top 2 Films were Asian subtitled historical epics? A long shot to be sure but it'd be cool nonetheless.

Since American audiences can only handle one foreign film at a time....I'm gonna go with Vanity Fair.

I'd like to say definitively say Hero, but unfortunately I think it's looking at a huge drop this weekend (respectively with the 4-day). It'll be close between it and Wicker Park with around $10-11 mil for the 4-day.

It's probably missing because it's only going to be showing on like 4 screens.

I'll go out on a limb and say Paparazzi (though all of those movies don't interest me besides Hero)

Exactly. The movie may wind up sucking, but everytime I've gone to the theater or turned on a network show in the past few weeks, I've seen this advertised.

Labor day is usually one of the slowest BO weekends of the year, usually a dumping ground for junk for the studios. I'd guess Vanity Fair or Paparazzi, but their totals are still going to be pretty low, like 10 or 12 mil a piece.

I'm guessing Paparazzi.

Personally, I'll probably see Hero (my choice), Vanity Fair (wife's choice) and Alien vs Predator (before my free ticket runs out Sunday).

Please trust me when I say that unless you're being PAID to see AVP don't do it, free ticket or not. That 90 minutes of your life is worth more than a free ticket.

Wicker Park has been getting the most attention of the new release. My money is on that.
