Top Ten Labor Day Movies

While I usually spend Labor camping, if you are looking for some good Labor Day movies to watch, here's my top ten: http://www.andrewnixon.com/movies/labor.htm
1) On the Waterfront (1954)
2) The Grapes of Wrath (1940)
3) Hoffa (1992)
4) Roger & Me (1989)
5) Norma Rae (1979)
6) F.I.S.T. (1978)
7) Office Space (1999)
8) Take This Job and Shove It (1981)
9) The Molly Maguires (1970)
10) Gung Ho (1986)

This isn't a definitive list, just something I came up with quickly for a little fun. I thought of several other work related kinda movies like, Secret of my Success, Working Girl, Other People's Money, etc. Feel free to add your favorites to the list.

John Sayles' MATEWAN is the most thematically appropriate fiction film that you can watch on Labor Day.

Ron Howard's 1986 comedy Gung Ho ...

"When a Japanese car company buys an American plant, the American liason must mediate the clash of work attitudes between the foreign management and native labor.
