It's already been released here in R4-land. If I can suffer through it, I'll post some thoughts.

Not even a crazy asian guy can save this. Maybe I'll catch it on TNT in a few years.

Just picke this up....Surprisingly a pretty decent movie. Infact I'd say this is better then 2, but not as good as 3. It actually tells a bit of story on Jim, Michelle, Stifler, and others. Two Pie cast members are back, Eugene Levy and Chris Owen (Shermanator).

I would disagree. This was easily the weakest of the lot - by far. Yeah, the previous cast-members are MENTIONED. Yeah, the Shermanator is in it for like 30 seconds. Yeah, that's Jim's dad - for no apparent reason. Yeah, that kid does a lame, annoying, Stifler imitation for 90 minutes.

Oh, and the script was straight out of Meatballs 6.

It'll probably do well on video because the unrated version has a bunch of extra tits. Sigh. Way to crush down a franchise that had already run its course. I think I'd look forward to 8mm 3 more than seeing this again. I can't believe that I was so bored that I actually sat through the whole, lame mess.

I'm going to go out and buy this just to annoy all the "smart" movie critics.

My downstairs neighbor invited me to watch this and have a few beers. At least the beers were free. Fucking an oboe is hilarious.

Maybe 5 or 6 in the unrated version, though the hottest ones don't.

Eugene Levy is just like Christopher Walkin...If its a job, and pays money, take it. Who gives a shit if you play in some bad movies, its a paycheck.

After Dumb & Dumberer, New York Minute, and The Man, I'd say he's been down there for awhile.

I did think these films got better with each new movie. I mean in the first one you had a lot of kids who really couldn't act but were still entertaining. By the third one they all matured a little bit in their acting abilities(i'm mean i'm not talking deniro or pacino here but still). This film kinda ruined that theory. I guess it's still true since Band Camp really doesn't belong in the series, so that makes me feel a little better.

rented it last weekend
one of the worst movies I've ever seen
I expected it to suck, but not as much as it did
not even naked 20something year olds passing themselves off as high schoolers could make up for it

Yeah a pretty bad movie. The Stifler character was just horrible.

i have that soft spot too... i rented it last night and it was bad... sort of funny... but bad

but i keep renting these movies cause i like them.. it's not like you go and watch the movie expecting to see the next oscar-winning movie... you just watch it cause it keeps you entertained for a while without any need to think too much

it's the kind of movies you could watch the first 10 minutes, fall asleep for an hour and then wake up and still grasp the whole movie... so what? there's always a mood for every movie... and that's the kind of mood i almost always have when watching movies

I actually just watched Band Camp after picking it up for free with a bunch of Blockbuster gift cards (along with a slew of other titles).

The premise of the film is actually decent enough that under a decent writer and director, actual hilarity could ensue and the movie could actually be funny. However, the flick was just plain boring and stupid. I didn't care for any of the characters (which isn't saying much) and the jokes have already been done before (and better). How many times in this series will ejaculate be used for something other than something that needs to be cleaned up?

And there wasn't enough nudity. I think it would've been better with a boatload of more nudity. It might've actually kept me from being restless for 90 minutes.

It'll probably take me another half year for me to catch up on the fifth entry whenever that hits DVD.
