ohhhhhhhhhh...... I thought you meant that the sequel was a hoax or gag
For sure they are putting more into that little skit there just like every other reality show out there.I think they are all fake as shit to tell you the truth.I'm sure at the time it was a little upsetting to Haim that he was not asked but Feldman was, but in the end I don't really think either gives two shits about being in this poorly written movie sequel..... at least I would hope not!

Well seeing as he went through the ordeal the first time after not believing could have set up a good story line of him going after vampires after his and the Frog brothers experience.Maybe becoming some sort of vampire hunter/slayer? There are many good reasons given a good script on how he could be involved IMO

Some news:
EXCL: First Lost Boys 2 Casting News!
Source: Ryan RottenAugust 11, 2007
Our last report on Warner Bros.' long-mooted The Lost Boys 2 was a mawkish affair. As it turns out, the on-air wetworks was merely a display of crocodile tears.
ShockTillYouDrop.com has exclusively learned from an anonymous source that the vampire-slayin' Frog Bros. - Feldman and Jamison Newlander - are indeed returning for the next "Lost" adventure...and so is Corey Haim, reprising his role as Sam Emerson.
Lensing begins, with P.J. Pesce (From Dusk Till Dawn 3) at the helm, a week from Monday.
On the newcomer tip, we've also been informed Angus Sutherland - Keifer's half-brother (and son of Donald Sutherland and Francine Racette) - will star as this film's big bad vamp.
Tad Hilgenbrink (next seen in the upcoming Amusement) and Autumn Reeser ("The O.C.") have been cast as the leads.

I have the feeling they are wanting to 'surprise' fans by not being forthcoming about Haims role.I have hopes but pretty sure we will see him.I cant imagine they would not have the 2 stars that made that original movie in the sequel.

The Savini site also reports:
"In other project news. Tom will begin filming on a western titled HIRED GUNS. Don't have much other info on this one right now but it will be interesting to see Tom flex his acting muscle in a non genre film."
Does genre = zombie now? I always thought of Westerns as a fine example of a "genre" film.
