ghost in Vertigo
When i saw the trailer for Vertigo it talked about a ghost in the graveyard, when i saw the movie i was looking for it during the graveyard scenes but couldn't find it. Is it a faint blur or what?

I've never heard about this. What is the story? Are you sure it wasn't referring to the fact that

Does anyone know? The old trailer said "...old ghost in the graveyard!"
What a suspensful movie, Hitchcock at his best. |
The full line from the 1958 trailer is "The spectre from the past that drew her to the ancient headstone in the mission graveyard." I think you are taking the VO too literally. There is no ghost in the graveyard. Vertigo is not a ghost story. It sounds like you either didn't see or didn't understand the movie, because you shouldn't be expecting a real ghost anywhere in the movie.

No i saw it, i swear they turned on a specific gravestone and i thought the ghost was a real faint glimmer or something, i don't know but i thought i couldn't find it.
|
Did you actually understand what the movie was about? I can't believe someone who did actually expecting to see a real ghost. What you might have seen was a lens flare or just an artifact from the film or DVD. Again, read my post: THERE IS NO GHOST IN VERTIGO!

FinkPish is right - Vertigo is NOT a ghost story, and no ghost was used in the making of this motion picture.

The ghost of Jimmy Stewart posts on this board under the username IMRICKJAMES, perhaps that's what you're thinking of?

Isn't that the same little bastard that pops up in Three Men and a Baby?

Yes i understood the movie PinkFish, i was just curious if i missed something.
