You accept Jack's argument but not mine? I said I believe what Jack says.

So if Jack worked with your mother, and your mother acted like a bitch to him and told you his opinion, would you then consider your mom a bitch also?

Drawing off someone else's experience to form your opinion on a subject like that is asisnine. While I have no doubt to the veracity of Jack's story, and whatever she did to him must've been annoying enough that he doesn't like her, I don't see what relevance that has to you. I have some friends that have done some jackass things to other people, but that doesn't make me form my opinions of them. I know some of my friends don't like some of my other friends. I trust their opinions...but I surely don't base mine on them.

You don't know Halle. While I doubt I would form opinions of hate based on whatever happened to Jack, he's at least got a foundation for those opinions that makes sense.

In the end the comments are juvenile and on par with what you hear at a middle school playground, perhaps with harsher words. I understand mostly people are just exagerrating their feelings because well..I guess it's amusing, but it just comes off as completely childish, and since it's not really funny or witty, just a space filler. I seriously doubt you actually carry this animosity towards the woman that you purport. It's just internet grandstanding for God knows what reason. If you do actually feel this way about her based on Jack's expereinces, you must either 1) really love Jack deeply, and feel his pain because of the deep bond you feel towards him or 2) are just blowing smoke and don't actually mean most of the vitrolic words you spout off.

Nonetheless...her being a bitch to Jack has little relevance to the opinion you have on her XMen decision. I mean if you truly hate people for being egotistical, there's a lot more people in Hollywood who are much worse than her. Let's start with James Cameron. Do you hate him? Because I know that man is a pure ass in person and know some people who've hated him quite a bit because of their experiences with him. Like, everyday he would pick a person on set and berate them for no good reason. Now do I hate him? No. Why would I, what the hell does that have to do with me. And why do I keep arguing about this! Must be me avoiding doing any work.

Well if his mom acted like a bitch to me and a lot of others then prehaps that tells you something about his mom.

wow, that sounded insulting.

Its not just Jack's story. I've posted reasons time and again.

You said the comments I've posted are juvineile but then you go and call Jim Cameron an ass.

I guess I just take "hate" lighter than you. Hate to me is seriously disliking someone. I seriously dislike Halle Berry. I "hate" Halle Berry.

However, as I mentioned above before in this thread, every Oscar a black person wins opens the door a little more for others. Which, btw, was Halle's point. A point you and others like you don't seem to understand.

cause we are bigots. who hate for no reason.

Whenever a door opens, another shuts. Halle now took up all those other black female leads that would have gone to others simply because she got a gold statue. I really don't see how she is opening up any doors for anyone else but herself.. Which has always been the point of the oscar. To land bigger and better roles.

Oh wait.. now that she walked away from the storm role she'll let a up and comer take that spot. Cause you know, she didn't want it for herself since it was to small.. Let the other african american female actors take the spot riiiiiiight?

We will be opening the Halle Berry forum later.

I have heard enough from Halle Berry to believe that she isn't very likeable. However if I had to eat a berry, it would be a Halle Berry.

Actress Eartha Kitt Injured in Car Crash

Fri Aug 6, 2:33 PM ET

WESTPORT, Conn. - Actress and singer Eartha Kitt, the original Catwoman on the "Batman" television show, suffered minor injuries when the vehicle she was driving collided with another car and flipped over, police said.

Kitt, 77, of Weston, was treated at Norwalk Hospital and released, hospital officials said.

The accident occurred at about 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Compo and Post Roads, said Sgt. Jerry Shannon. Kitt's Land Rover was crossing Post Road when it collided with a car, causing her car to roll over onto its roof, police said.

Kitt's two poodles were in the car but escaped injury.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.

Anyone seen Halle lately? Does sound like a plot to kill all other Catwomen so she'll be the only one!

Was Ertha Kitt's Catwoman and Julie Newmar's Catwoman supposed to be two different Catwomen?

Eartha Kitt, Julie Newmar and Lee Merriweather all were different Catwomen. Maybe this is the opportunity for Halle to turn it into the Highlander. There can be only one!

I believe jaeufraser. I now loathe and detest that son of a bitch, James Cameron. He is a waste of skin and I hope his cat is run over by a Ford Explorer and he dies of prostate cancer. When he dies, I will dance on his grave.

you know what would be kind of funny... if Halley was offered to reprise her role as Catwoman... as a very short cameo in a future Batman movie.
