The Big Empty (2003) question (Spoiler)
 

OK, I just watched The Big Empty the other night and I must say I just didnt get the ending. I was with it until the UFO came and took all the people away. But apparently something happened to John (Jon Favreau) that alludes me. In the bowling ally they insinuate that John and Grace (Joey Lauren Adams) are now aliens (? the blue eyes?). Also I am thinking that the bowling ball rolling into the desert as the parting shot was another clue. Was it metaphor? For what?

If you notice, Grace had the band-aid on her neck at the beginning of the movie as well, so perhaps she was one the whole time?

I'll possibly have to rewatch it. At the end I felt it lived up it it's name Empty...Bigtime
