Spiderman 2 and Xena some similarities?

Who all thinks that Spiderman 2 and Xena the TV show has some similarities between them?

Here are the similarities I see:

1. Spiderman 2 was directed by Sam Raimi. Xena has Sam Raimi as Executive Producer and thus has a big influence on how the show should be done.

2. **Spoilers** Spiderman 2 had Ted Raimi and Bruce Campbell as guest stars. Xena had both of them appearing throughout the TV series.

3. Spiderman 2's story was told with great character development, good humor, and awesome action. Xena is the same.

So, what if you're one who liked Spiderman 2 you'll prob like Xena as well.

What do you think?

I think this was clearly not a good reason to start yet another spiderman thread.

Wow, yeah Spiderman and Xena have close to nothing in common save for those things you mentioned. Tonally, quality wise, storywise, audience wise (does Spidey have a healthy lesbian fan base?) these things are nothing alike. Not to mention format...I could go on all day.

Spiderman 2 was excellent though.

I disagree. Spidey 2 had absolutely no "lesbian vibe" to it what so ever. :(
