Seantn,
It's seriously not right to get people all happy and excited when they read a thread title, just to let them down when they click on the thread.

I thought Sean was serious that he had died.

Wow, did he finally get the financing for this movie? I think it's just been sitting around for a couple of years.

Here's an interview with Pauly from the movie's U.S. premiere in Sacramento: http://www.badmouth.net/archives/000134.php
Pauly comes across pretty well, actually. Can't speak for the film, though.

I went to the premiere on Friday, but left after the first 15 minutes because some jerks were smoking pot in the theater and showed no signs of getting booted, and the person I was with was getting physically ill from it. I already felt like leaving though because the damn movie was being shown on a VIDEO projector from a DVD! The same "20th Century Fox Home Entertainment" intro that they have on their DVDs came on the screen, and a "PLAY" display appeared at the top!
The evening wasn't a total waste however as I got to meet Pauly Shore before the show and he autographed my laserdiscs of Encino Man, Jury Duty and Bio-Dome (yes, I actually bought those, but not at full price, they were all from blowout sales.)
He was outside when we were leaving so I asked why they were showing a DVD, he said they were making some 35mm film prints of it but they weren't done yet. I told him we had to go, but we'd come back later if they got a film print, and if not then I'd buy the DVD when it came out.
