Edward Furlong Arrested

SEPTEMBER 17--Meet Edward Furlong. The 27-year-old actor was arrested Wednesday night for public intoxication following a bizarre incident--complete with lobsters!--at a Kentucky grocery store. According to this Florence Police Department report, Furlong, who starred in "Terminator 2," and some pals were in a Meijer store getting rowdy and yanking lobsters out of the chain store's tank. When police arrived, an unsteady Furlong, who smelled of booze, began to "turn around in circles" when an officer tried to frisk him. It is unclear whether Furlong--a PETA/animal rights activist--was trying to free the incarcerated crustaceans. Furlong, in town shooting a movie, spent a few hours in custody before making bail on the misdemeanor count.

I only said that because getting arrested while intoxicated seems to be Furlong's hobby, not to give the original poster a hard time.

What's a matter for you?

They probably meant he was seen in the town dump firing a semi-automatic rifle into a pile of discarded film canisters.

People, bhk was not ragging the original poster. He was commenting on how often Furlong gets arrested. Damn.

Nod...I thought I remember reading/hearing somewhere that they didn't bother to use him in T3 because he was in sad shape....ie: intoxication troubles.

On another note...on first glimpse I thought it might have been "Hot Rod" Roddy Piper. Perhaps they could use him for T4.......

I hope this doesnt delay the new Crow movie any further. The cast is already like an AA meeting (Edward Furlong, Tara Reid, Dennis Hopper).

Edward Furlong was trying to free the lobsters with his friends, that was what they were doing. He wasn't being insane but they smelt alcohol on his breath and he was slurring his words. And he lost his role in T3 because of his drug problems.
