Needs to contact an admin about multiple accounts
i was excited to see the list for some viewing ideas. unfortunately i've seen everything on here with the exception of changing lanes. i'd swap out a few of those for the double life of veronique.

i think it's a pretty good list. The only one I don't get at all is the inclusion of Punch Drunk love. Was glad to see that there was room for Life of Brian.
Abel Ferrara's The Addiction, is that the Liv Tyler vampire movie?

No Oh, God!? Where's Jesus Christ Superstar? The Ten Commandments?
I haven't seen it in a while, but I'm drawing a blank as to why The Last Days of Disco would be considered.
I think Pulp Fiction should have made the list.

I"m very happy to read in the article the Apostle and the Dekalogue are getting so much love. Two incredible pieces of work that will be part of my life until the day I die. Incredible pieces.

I'm a little disappointed by the exclusion of Winter Light. Other than that, a fantastic list of films.

I came in here prepared to crap all over this thread and the schmucks who compiled the list because they failed to include Andrei Tarkovsky's Stalker. But then to my shocked surprise it's on there.
Two big thumbs up to this list.
Although no Winter Light is a big problem.

Edit: They say it pretty well in the article:
The unflinching portrayal of spiritually lost characters in Magnolia may scandalize some believers, but there's no denying it's one of the most often cited favorites among Christian film buffs, with its wonderfully human (and profoundly admirable) Christian cop, its intricate moral and relational complications, and its undeniable acts of divine intervention. Punch-Drunk Love, a less obviously religious film by the same director, also finds its way onto the list, a prime example of a story without explicit religious elements which nonetheless holds great appeal for Christian viewers, with its grace-filled portrait of damaged human beings yearning toward redemptive love.

It's about the redemptive power of love

Still, one of the best Top 100 lists I've seen.

DVD Talk Hero
"The Wicker Man" deserves to be on the list.

Well, I would certainly remove The The Passion of the the Christ from that list and add Jerry Zucker's Rat Race (2001), which is a much more deserving and inspiring film.

changing lanes seems totally out of place on that list.
The addiction is questionable. Although I do like that film.
Abel ferrara does frequently use his catholic background as an underlying theme in some of his films, but knowing about the man himself, the closest thing he comes to spirtuality is at the end of a crack pipe.

Other less-obvious movies like Groundhog Day absolutely belong on the list. Its message is to work to better yourself and help your fellow man and everything else will fall into place.
I firmly believe the Japanese film Wonderful Life (aka After Life) belongs on the list. Luckily it seems to have a lot of support in the 'what we missed' thread on the site, so hopefully it will make it. I wish I could get a better DVD release of it in R1, though.

I just meant because the film is pure utter crap. At least it was for me.
