Songs that remind you of the movie it's in.

And I mean, the song is in the movie soundtrack. Anytime you hear it, you instantly think of its movie.

For me:

Freebird -> Forrest Gump
Centerfield -> Bull Durham
Big Empty -> The Crow

The song that plays during the opening credits of Intolerable Cruelty. Our system at work is set to classic 70's and 80's so it plays quite often.

A lot of good ones mentioned.

1st one came to me was "Don't You Forget About Me" - Bfast Club.

Top Gun does have a lot. Also "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling"

Since I'm a Boogie Nights fan, "Jesse's Girl", "Machine Gun", "Sister Christian" and "God Only Knows". Obviously, everything from Magnolia too.

Some minivan commercial uses this song that makes me think of the bloody massacre of Battle Royale - which is funny cuz they're just loading diapers and bicycles in this stupid minivan and all I think of is blood and death.

I'm a big BN fan too, but I've come to appreciate "God Only Knows" for the classic that it is, so I don't think of the movie when I hear it (although I've been listening to the stereo version which was not in the film).

I don't think I could hear "The Lonely Shepherd" from Zamfir and not be reminded of Kill Bill.
