I don't think this has been done before....

Anyhow, that movie characters can you relate you - not just kind of relate to, but TRULY relate to - as if their mental person was a copy of you?

Off the top of my head... I'd say Willie from Beautiful Girls. There's probably a better one but I can't think of it now. He is kind of an "everyman" that isn't sure what he wants in life... just like a lot of us I s'pose. I can also relate to Rappaport's character in this movie to some extent.

This movie just had very REAL characters IMHO.

All of the main characters in Charlie Kaufman screenplays are extremely sympathetic to me (and seem to be to a number of other people). Kaufman in Adaptation (especially his internal monologue) was eerily similar to the way I think.
