Eighties Summer Camp movie??
There was this movie that played on HBO in th eighties that I cannot recall the title of. The funny thing is that I saw the movie so many times, yet the title eludes me.
I remember only a few things, The main charachter had red/orange hair and I think he hosted some kind of kids show on Nickelodeon in the mid/late ninties, like an obstacle course type show.
There was this kid that brought tons of junkfood to camp with him.
There was this kid who liked this girl but she was kind of stand-offish and gave him a hard time. I remember other bits and pieces but to describe them would not make sense, like I remember someone getting some kind of soup or something poured over them.
So if anyone has any idea what the hell I'm talking about please share!

Is the kid with red/orange hair JD Roth? But I cant think of any movie with him in. He hosted fun house i think, but that was late 80's early 90's.

Actually that's who I was thinking but you're right according to imdb he didn't appear in any movie like I was thinking of. I guess they just looked similiar to me.

When I saw the title, I immediately though of Poison Ivy, but the cast is so recognizeable that I would think you'd be able to figure it out. However, it does loosely match your clues (of course, so would any summer camp film). Timmy Mezzy, the kid who couldn't swim, had red hair. Disbro was always trying to hook up with the ladies at the girl's camp across the way, and there was one particular honey who made him work for it a bit. And Toby had the hook up with loads of junk food.
Now if you'll excuse me ... I need to go beat myself over the head with a shovel for knowing so much about this silly TV movie.

I must be on crack. Looking at the description for Poison Ivy it seems like the exact movie I am describing but Michael J. Fox wasn't in it. I know I saw this maybe it was on the Disney channel. Thanks anyway for humoring an idiot.
