Nothing to do tomorrow...is "Hellboy" worth seeing?
I have off all week and have been pondering whether or not to see this.
I have never read the comic and only know from what I saw from trailers. I like action movies, also X-Men's were great, Spider-man was ok, I even enjoyed Daredevil very much. So is this worth seeing as a 2 hour nothing else to do excursion? I was also thinking of "Passion of the Christ" but wasn't sure if I want to go that heavy. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. |
yeah, go for the matinee.
yes. it is
I haven't seen it so you go see it, come back, and report. Thanks. :)
Go see Kill Bill. Hellboy was pretty crappy imo.

See Hellboy and Kill Bill.

I do feel there is better stuff out than Hellboy, but if the trailer seemed appealing, why not?

Hellboy's fun. Give it a try.
it is but you do need to be into comic book movies
 The movie was fun and interesting, if not groundbreaking. It was one of the few movies in recent years that met my expectations based only on the previews.
Hellboy's fun. Personally I'd say The Punisher's more fun. Neither's a 'great' movie, but both are enjoyable. If you see either of them, don't expect more than a ride and you'll have a good time.

Hellboy is a good time. Not amazing, but the nazi bad guy is pretty bad ass.

Definitely go for Hellboy. Ron Perlman has a great time enjoying the hell out of it, and so will you.
Hellboy's worth it...some of the action sequences are dragged out, but watching Hellboy pine after Selma Blair is the real enjoyment you'll get from the film. It's better than most comic book movies that get released - and certainly a better pick than, say, The Punisher.

See Hellboy. It's a fun movie and I don't usually like the old 'popcorn' flick defense but for two hours I felt like I was in different place with interesting characters. It does wane at the end but worth every penny of the eight or so bucks. PS and I'm a cheap bastard.

I'd go see Hellboy in a second. I love comic book movies, and Hellboy happens to be one of my favorite comic books. Guillermo del Toro did a great job with the material he's given, and Ron Perlman just nails the character of Hellboy. I'd definitely recommend it.

Hellboy.
I thought it was highly enjoyable. Good all-around movie.
Go see it. It's good mindless fun for two hours
I just saw this Tuesday with a friend who wanted to see it.
I thought it was ok, pretty cheesey IMO, but it is somewhat enjoyable I suppose. But it's the worst of the recent comic movies I've seen, no where near as good as say the X-men movies or Spider-man. |
I would say skip it and save your time and money.
and what? kill the two hours posting on a internet message board?
