Which trilogies do/will you prefer: Matrix or Star Wars: The Prequel Trilogy

While III has yet to come out, I think we all know the story.

Basically, out of two trilogies that left people somewhat disappointed, which do you think is better? Or if you think they BOTH stink vote for that option, just defend why you think one stinks more than the other.

The Matrix Trilogy. At least the Matrix films aspired to something rather than pandering to it's audience, like I feel the Prequel Trilogy has done so far.

Damn good thing you had a None of the Above.

Personally, between those two "trilogies" I prefer the Naked Gun any day.

I disliked both Episode I and II when they first came out, but they have really starting to grow on me recently. Two very underrated movies, in my opinion.

Matrix, on the strength of the first movie alone. The sequels were watchable but not memorable.

Didn't like The Phantom Menace. But enjoyed Attack of the Clones. Sure, there were some laughably bad parts. But I must admit that, as a whole, it was a fulfilling Star Wars story. Hopefully Episode 3 progresses just as Episode 2 did from Episode 1.

The Matrix, on the other hand, was fatally wounded by Revolutions. Really liked the first two. But I just can't watch them again without being reminded of how bad the 3rd one was. It's a shame, really.

So, though neither set of films is flattering, I'm going to have to say Star Wars.

I quite enjoyed the Matrix trilogy. All three of them. I don't have the dying lvoe for these flicks, but they're all damn entertaining, Revolutions included.

Star Wars suffers cause I hate Phantom Menace. Just hate it. I can't stand watching the thing. I loved AOTC, but no matter how good Episode 3 is, TPM will always be a major sore spot.

So Matrix wins.

The Matrix. Absolutely love the first film, and enjoy the sequels.
With Star Wars, I really like AOTC, but I can't find any reason to watch TPM except for Darth Maul.

I wouldn't say either one was 'great'; but I enjoyed the Star Wars prequels a little more.

Star Wars - even though I think the first Matrix movie is better than Episode 1 and 2.

Matrix does nothing for me so this was an easy choice.

Matrix has one good movie, and two so-so movies.

Star Wars "new trilogy" has 2 dull movies and one unknown.

So Matrix Trilogy wins so far.

Loved the first two Matrices and thought that Revolutions was mediocre.

Thought Menace was mediocre but really liked Clones. Hopefully Star Wars will finish strong so that I won't feel bad about a tie.

Right now though, the winner is Matrix.

How about "they both rock" as a choice, the problem around here is that everyone always focus' on the negative

Well there IMO is one good Matrix movie and no good new Starwars movie. So Matrix is in the lead in my book.
