OH MAN. This is going to be one exciting film. I can't ****ing wait.

Kal-El 04-09-04 12:22 AM

Well that got me hyped. :D

dcprules 04-09-04 01:13 AM

This one looks really good. I really feel sorry for Peter Parker after watching the trailer. This guy's got it rough.

Can't wait for June 30.

Get Me Coffee 04-09-04 01:30 AM

Go down load the trailer on the spiderman movie site. It's so sweet in full screen!

fumanstan 04-09-04 02:50 AM

Holy crap. That looks amazing. I enjoyed the first one but didn't feel like it was that great, probably because of the slow origin story. But damn, this looks just awesome!

victant 04-09-04 04:01 AM

That was a great trailer. I only hope they saved some of that for the movie! ;)

steebo777 04-09-04 06:48 AM

Raimi, you are a god in my book :D

Lara Means 04-09-04 07:30 AM

The full trailer is already up in terrific quicktime.

I guess the title of this thread should be changed.

Saw the trailer on tape. Looks like Raimi still knows what he's doing.

I liked how it was billed as "the story continues" ; makes it well known that we are following an arc instead of just another capitalize quick with different love interest and villain route tried by Batman. Since III is already a given, I wouldn't be surprised if II has a cliffhanger ending of sorts. For all we know, this might be the Empire Strikes Back of the Spidey saga. ;)

As long as it ends with the viewer knowing (or at least partially guessing) that Venom will be the villain in part 3 :D

matome 04-09-04 07:59 AM

Wow, that looks better than the first one!

Corvin 04-09-04 08:16 AM

Wow. Looks extremely cool.

OldBoy 04-09-04 08:17 AM

I thought I was watching a trailer for a re-make for "Superman II"
last night.
It does look a little more story driven and darker than the first, but just more of the same..and I only thought the first was mediocre at best. Too much hype!

I believe Raimi Publicly stated that as long as he's directing there will NEVER be a venom in the series

:jawdrop:

Kicker_of_Elves 04-09-04 10:07 AM

Bandit03 04-09-04 10:14 AM

That was amazing. Doc Ock looks excellent. It was awesome when Spidey swung threw the middle part of the Semi and landed on the car he was chasing. Cant wait for this one

kevin75 04-09-04 11:25 AM

Indeed.

I don't normally appreciate seeing CG films. But the effects in this look next-to-perfect. I guess some things can be done with virtually unlimited funding.

Deftones 04-09-04 12:14 PM

looks better than the 1st trailer made it out to look. Special effects look better, but still cheesy.

Next to perfect? The CG is far from being perfect. Looks very average. Bad CG didn't ruin my enjoyment of the first film though, and it won't ruin my enjoyment of the sequel either.

I have said that many times. Venom is okay, but there is NO WAY for him to get worked into the arc they are telling and have him make sense unless they make him a supporting or cameo villain, which would enrage too many fans.

TylerDurden_73 04-09-04 12:40 PM

June 30th can't get here fast enough...

necros 04-09-04 12:48 PM
