Even though I liked T2 and BTTF 2, I still think Scream 2 should at least be on the list. It was a pretty good sequel in my opinion.

Easily The Godfather, Part II. It's the best of the Godfather trilogy, and thus, it's one of the best films ever made. Dawn of the Dead and Empire Strikes Back are both fantastic films, but neither draw me in and grab my gut like The Godfather, Part II.

Shouldn't Empire be ruled out along the same lines as Aliens or Lethal Weapon 2? I mean, like it or not, it is part of a sexology.

Still, voted ESB with Evil Dead 2 and GFII right behind.

Shaft's Big Score!

Ok, maybe not.

But there's always Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear, that was a good one.

and

Die Hard 2
Robocop 2
Rambo 2
Crocodile Dundee 2
Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me
For a Few Dollars More

Is The Silence of the Lambs part 2 of a trilogy? If so, that would be my vote.

Hmmm...here's the way I see it:

Back to the Future part 2 - not as good as the first
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom - worst of the trilogy
Godfather part 2 - not as good as the first
Lord of the Rings The Two Towers - worst of the trilogy
Three colors White - haven't seen any of these
Star Wars Empire Strikes Back - best of the trilogy
Dawn of the Dead - haven't seen any of these
Matrix Reloaded - not as good as the first
Evil Dead 2 - not as good as Army of Darkness

My vote goes to Empire Strikes Back

I voted Godfather 2 because I believe it, but I'd vote Empire if it was based on what my nine year old self would say. But looking at it objectively I see no real choice.

T2 and Aliens are also both good.
I'd second ST: Khan as another good runner up

Damn shame that there was a Superman IV or I'd toss in Supes II.

I had to go with Empire, since it's also the best of its series.

Revenge of the Ninja!!!!

Ok, seriously Empire

Empire of course. AT-ATs, Yoda, Asteroid Chase, Vader killing everyone left and right, Han wields a saber among other things. What's not to like?

You forgot Han not even letting Vader fully stand up before opening fire. Ineffective, but nonetheless bad ass looking.

I think Karate Kid 2 might've taken it though, if Sato and Mr. M had actually had it out.

Simmer down now...

Dawn of the Dead gets my vote... Followed by GF II, The Two Towers and Three Colors: White.

BTW, for including Three Colors in your poll selections...
