Yeah, looks like another Cabin Fever/Wrong Turn-type movie. Those movies are fine for what they are. It's just sad that they took a classic movie and turned it into typical BOO!-jump scare fare.

But I'll probably still go see the damn thing...

When I saw the preview with Constantine this weekend, several people groaned once they saw Paris Hilton advertised.

If her character is one of the poor souls who get coated in wax, then they might actually be able to turn that into a marketing tool. Many people would pay to see her die a fake but gruesome death I think!

Hmm...I've seen both Mystery of the Wax Museum and House of Wax in 3-D. Neither of them was a teen slasher. But this movie seems to be?

I bet Paris gets waxed, with Elisha Cuthbert being the heroine of the flick.

I can't think of anyone better suited to play a wax mannequin than Paris Hilton.

Well, that was a rather insulting statement...

Dark Castle has not yet made one good movie.

Gothika
House on Haunted Hill
The one with Shannon Elizabeth

Given the track record I guess I'll be seeing this on HBO too. Also, Paris Hilton definitely doesn't help.

I'll probably rent it when nothing else good is available just to see if Paris Hilton gets the axe within the first 10 minutes.

I'd be more apt to see this if it came out in October...at least then I'm more inclined to see something in the genre, even if its not that good.

However, I've seen all the Dark Castle movies, and with the exception of Gothika, I've like them all (for what they were). Though Paris Hilton...bad move.

It looks very original...

Some creppy guy whom you don't see until the last 10 minutes of the movie chases scantly clothed women around for no apparent reason in a desserted town/forrest. With added "Look I have a MiniDV Camera, so lets show amateurish footage" montages.

Saying that from the trailers it doesn't look too bad.. is like going out for a night of heavy drinking and going home with the girl that didn't look too bad and being thoroughly disgusted by what you wake up next to.

A night of heavy drinking is the only way I will buy a ticket for this movie in the first place.

I'm honestly shocked they're keeping her name visible in the marketing. I just assumed they would try to bury her involvement when her star began to fall last year.

The reviews should be a bloodbath.

At least Warner is not editing this down to a PG-13, right guys? Right!?!?

I'll go see it opening night. So I can cheer when Paris Hilton is killed on screen. It better be an on-screen death anyway. That might be the only way to get people into the theaters to see this flick....

You forgot "The one with the dumb woman who left ER" (a.k.a. Ghost Ship).
