Eliza Dushku as Black Cat in Spidey 3? Might happen afterall
While I think 411mania is less than dependable at best, someone did post this in a recent column.
"For those of you that like comics or Kirsten Dunst, Spiderman 3 has been greenlit, continuing the bold trend started when the Cat In The Hat sequel was greenlit two months before the original came out BWHAHAHAHA. Sorry, must have had something in my eye. Eliza Duskhu is already being courted for the "Black Cat" character in Spidey 3, as I noted in my last column."
While this would be ideal casting IMO, I thought they had already cast an unknown in the role, an actress by the name of Brooke Adams (not the older one), for a brief part in Spidey 2.
Maybe it's just bunk, but a guy can hope can't he?

I think her husky voice has something to do with her smoking. I seem to recall seeing several pics of her during breaks on sets with a cancer stick in her mouth.
You can tell the difference as well if you compare her voice on her early Buffy appearances with those in the later Angel/final Buffy eps.

Whats' the big deal about Eliza. She's very cute, I'll admit that, but evertime she opens her mouth all attractiveness flies out the window. Her acting seems very forced in anything I've every seen her in. Very generic actress in my opinion.
